Back Track

Since I just created this blog and didn't have it last week, I want to back track a little.

I took Kenna to the Dr last Monday for her two month check up. She is now 10 lbs 11 oz! She is defiantly a growing girl. She was 6 lbs 4 oz at birth and 6 lbs 10 oz at two weeks. That means she gained 4 lbs in six weeks! I must be making some good stuff (I'm nursing). I couldn't believe how much she has grown. She is a healthy little girl, no concerns from the Dr. She got her set of shots the next day and did great! She cried for maybe 5 minutes and was over it. Then I took her to get her ears pierced the following day. Once again, she was a trooper and only cried for a bit. She is doing great now. I think she is becoming more of a Daddy's girl. Every time he talks to her she just smiles away. It's so cute :)

Gav is also doing great. Auntie got him some cool new "markers" last week from Target. They are used to draw on windows and mirrors only. They look and feel like wax and they wipe right off with a wet paper towel. He loves them. In fact, he completely destroyed the first set he got because he was using them so much. So Grandma Claire went to the store and bought him another pack. So that's what he is into right now. Drawing and coloring are his new favorite things to do. And I think he is finally out of the stage where he draws on everything except paper (the walls in this house are now artwork).

As for hubby, he is working at the Dallas location for his company right now which is like a 45 min drive to and from work everyday (not to mention its about $5 in tolls one way). And he just got news that they are moving him to the Plano location (yay!). No more tolls, and it cuts his driving time in half! I am pretty excited about it. As is he, he is hoping to boost sells in that area and is excited to show his boss that he can do it.

Now that we're caught up on last week... We can move forward in the next posts :)
